Alloy C-276
Alloy C-276 is a nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy that contains tungsten. It exhibits remarkable corrosion resistance over an extensive range of harsh, aqueous environments. In particular, it shows high resistance to oxidizing and reducing acids as well as chloride-induced crevice, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. This alloy maintains its integrity when exposed to corrosive liquids across an unusually wide temperature region. Its microstructure and composition give it extraordinary uniform protection against diverse corrosive chemicals.
