Alloy 410 | Martensitic Chromium Stainless Steel

UNS S41000   |   EN X12Cr13   |   W.Nr. 1.4006

  • Available in Cold Rolled Strip, Hot Rolled Strip and Plate forms in Annealed condition, with thickness starting from 26GA [0.50mm] up to 6" [150mm] according to AMS 5504 and ASTM A240 specs.

  • High strength and hardness: Alloy 410 plates exhibit high strength and hardness, making them ideal for applications that require resistance to wear, abrasion, and impact.

  • Heat treatable: These plates can be heat treated to enhance their mechanical properties, such as hardness, strength, and toughness. Heat treatment also improves the resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

  • Corrosion resistance: Alloy 410 plates provide good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, mild acids, alkalis, and various organic and inorganic chemicals. This makes them suitable for applications in chemical processing, food processing, and pharmaceutical industries.

  • Wear resistance: The plates offer excellent wear resistance, making them suitable for applications involving sliding or abrasive wear, such as pump components, conveyor systems, and valve parts.

  • High-temperature resistance: Alloy 410 plates can withstand high temperatures without significant loss of strength, making them suitable for applications in heat exchangers, furnace parts, and combustion chambers.

  • Machinability: These plates have good machinability, allowing for ease of fabrication and machining into complex shapes and components.
